Google+, the latest Google-developed service to break into the social networking scene, seems to be a hit.

Though initial reviews of Google+ were mixed, its user base is growing at a staggering rate. According to Google CEO Larry Page (himself a Google+ user), the service has already passed the 10-million member mark, and those users share over a billion pieces of content per day.

You could simply look at Netcraft’s latest web survey and point to more than 357 million URLs and an unprecedented pace of growth: the number of URLs has, for example, increased by a factor of 10 in a little over 8 years and doubled in size in less than 3 years.

YouTube gets 600 new videos, 60 new blogs are registered and 168 million are sent every minute. These are mind blowing numbers, but do sound reasonable, if you realize that there are now 2.1 billion people on the web – about 30 percent of the Earth’s population.

Sony UK posted a new video previewing the upcoming S1 and S2 Android tablets on its YouTube page.

Sony describes the 9.4″ S1 as “designed for comfort,” while the smaller, dual-screen S2 is “built for safe portability.” The S1 and S2 will both run Android 3.0, also known as Honeycomb, and integrate with Sony’s PlayStation Suite — a platform that allows users to download and play PlayStation games.

まず、デュアル･スクリーンの S2 ですが、なかなか使い勝手が良さそうですね。この、ImerjDesign のビデオを見ると、イメージが湧いてきます。 それと S1 ですが、タテ使いのときは、厚い方を持つのでしょうかね？ どちらも触ってみたいですね ーーー
